CLEP Testing

 

Capital University Center offers CLEP Testing. This is a test that allows students to earn credit in a subject area without taking the class.  Please note: the same test cannot be attempted again for 6 months.

The CLEP test costs $72 ($77 after July 1, 2010) payable to CLEP by check, money order or credit card, plus a seperate $20 fee payable to SDSU. Visit the website http://www.collegeboard.com/  for more information on preparing for the CLEP test.

If you are interested in taking the CLEP test please make an appointment in advance at CUC between the hours of 8-3 pm M-F. Testing will not be offered during finals week or any other time a high amount of testing is going on at CUC to assure the tester a more quiet and comfortable environment.

The following tests are available: American Government, American Literature, Analyze & Interpret Literature, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, College Algebra, French, German, College Math, Spanish, English Composition with Essay, English Composition, English Literature, Financial Accounting, Freshman Coll. Comp., US History I, US History II, Human Growth & Development, Humanities, Info Systems & Computer Applications, Intro to Ed Psyc., Introductory Business Law, Introductory Psychology, Introductory Sociology, Natural Sciences, Precalculus, Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Microeconomics, Social Science & History, Wester Civilization I, Western Civilization II.
