Heather Forney is currently the Deputy  Executive Director for the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission. She has both her Masters and her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota. Heather worked in public accounting with McGladrey & Pullen prior to joining the State of South Dakota in 1998. Heather and her husband, John, live in Pierre with their two children.
