Dr. A. Joyce Tidball
has more than forty years in education and is also a licensed Realtor. Her
educational teaching experience includes preschool, elementary, secondary, and
higher education. Joyce has also served as the State Director of Curriculum and
Instruction, the State Executive Director of the School Administrators of S.D.,
and is a published author. She completed her Ph.D. at Ohio State University
while she served as a Research Associate, taught graduate and undergraduate
students, and later became Assistant Dean. As Assistant Dean, Joyce worked with
Ohio State University's NCATE Review and worked extensively with faculty
development. She also has been a licensed Realtor since 1988.
Joyce has been a member of the CUC faculty since CUC was
established in 1982 and has taught a wide range of teacher requirements and
renewal courses, Middle School and Curriculum courses, Mastering Lifetime
Learning Skills, Real Estate, and Human Relations courses.
She particularly loves being part of the extraordinary
development of adult learners as they pursue higher education degrees. Joyce and
her husband, Sam, enjoy living in Ft. Pierre.
