Julie Gross is originally from Gillette, Wyoming, but she has lived in South Dakota since 1991. She graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 1995 with degrees in English and Sociology, and then she went on to pursue her Master’s Degree at the University of South Dakota. In May of 1997, Julie graduated from USD with an M.A. in English. While at USD, Julie worked as a Teaching Assistant for two years, teaching Composition 101 and Introduction to Literature. Julie and her family spent the last six years in Winner, SD where she had various jobs, which included being the Foundation Director and Marketing Coordinator at Winner Regional Healthcare Center. Fall of 2003 was Julie’s first semester at CUC, and she thoroughly enjoyed teaching English classes again. Julie is married to Geoff Gross, a teacher and coach at Riggs High School, and they have two little boys.
