SDePay – Electronic Billing and Payment Services for Students
SDePay electronic billing and payment system is the official means of generating tuition bills to all university students. Paper billing statements no longer exist after Summer 2006.
You will receive a notice in your University assigned e-mail account when your SDePay bill is ready to be viewed online. You will access SDePay through the WEB ADVISOR. Your online statement will detail the amount of tuition due and the payment due date. Students are solely responsible for making sure the tuition is paid by the due date.
You need to be sure you have access to the WEB ADVISOR. You will be able to view your billing statement, check your grades, and change your address/phone numbers. If you need assistance in logging on to the Web Advisor please either call the help desk or come in and see Mary at Capital University Center.
Once logged into SDePay through the Web Advisor, you can: 1. View tuition bills 2. View billing and payment history 3. View financial aid credits 4. Pay tuition bills online or by credit card
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
Credit Card Payments – You may continue using credit cards to pay for your tuition, however, you will be charged a 2.75% user fee and VISA is no longer accepted. Payment of tuition and fees using a credit/debit card CANNOT be made at the Cashier’s Office or at Capital University Center. You must do it online.
Payment can still be made by personal check or money order.
Capital University Center requests that you do not pay by cash for tuition or for books.
FINANCIAL AID - If you are on financial aid, your tuition will be taken out of your funds. Your financial aid MUST BE in order. If you still owe money after your aid has been applied, you will be responsible for payment by the payment date.
In summary: Tuition Statements will be sent to you via the Web Advisor and you are responsible for accessing that statement. FAILURE to receive a tuition bill does not mean the student does not have to pay by the payment deadline. Late fees will be applied. |
