Randy Hilding is employed by the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources as an Environmental Program Scientist. For the past ten years, he has provided on-site technical assistance and training to the operators of wastewater treatment systems. Prior to this assignment, he conducted technical training for wastewater and water system operators in a classroom setting. Randy taught Earth Science at Harrold High School in Harrold, South Dakota. He also taught a sophomore level course entitled Introduction to Physical Geography at Louisiana State University while working on an MS degree (1979) from the LSU School of Geoscience.
