Shannon Schweitzer has a Master's in Human Development and Family Studies and a Bachelor's in Family & Consumer Sciences Education from South Dakota State University. She currently is a curriculum specialist in the Department of Education. Prior to joining the state in 1999 she taught family & consumer sciences and language arts to middle and high school students. Shannon teaches HDFS 141 Individual and the Family, HDFS 210 Lifespan Development along with co-teaching another course with Dr. Joyce Tidball for CUC.
