TUITION AND FEES

APPLICATION FEE
A one time fee is assessed at the application of any student new to the South Dakota public university system. The Undergraduate $20 fee (non-refundable), or the Graduate $35 fee (non-refundable), covers the costs of processing registration at the partner university.

EXAM FEE
Students requesting that Capital University Center proctor correspondence course exams will be charged a $10 fee for each exam if the test is not from one of the state universities.

PAYMENT OF TUITION FOR STUDENTS NOT RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID
If a student is not on financial aid, tuition is usually due by the first class date. Paper billing statements will no longer exist after Summer 2006. An account summary may be found on WebAdvisor. There is a $50.00 late fee. It is the student's responsibility to be sure their tuition is paid in full by the due date. Click on the following link to read about the New Billing/Payment System.

REFUND POLICY
For college credit classes, adhere to university policy.

For non-credit classes, full refund of tuition less $10 per course will be given between the time of registration and TWO WORKING DAYS prior to the first day of class. No full or partial refunds will be given after that deadline.

Electronic course refunds will adhere to university policy. Contact the CUC office for specific refund information.

CLASS COSTS THROUGH SPRING 2009

Class costs at Capital University Center are set by the South Dakota Board of Regents, and are the same all across South Dakota, except at Sioux Falls (where costs are higher).
